Yep, awesome, was jumping round the lounge! Sad thing now is we gotta wait months before the next kiwi fights! Although Dylan Andrews is on the tuf 17 season. Hunt has asked to fight again asap and against a top 5 guy. Te Huna wants a top 10 guy and for him I think it's fair enough...There's been talk of Te Hune Manuwa but that takes JTH nowhere. He's just fought a guy like him in Jimmo...

Possibly three, Robert Whittaker v. Colton Smith has been announced but not official.

He makes for a much more interesting fight than Bader.
. I haven't seen the end of the OzvUK Tuf series, it's being repeated on tv here now? I presume Whittikar was the winner and he's a kiwi?

Yeah Whittaker won the welterweight division of The Smashes. He is recognised as an Aussie but was born in NZ. Decent fighter who hits hard. Not sure how he will go stepping up to the next level of opponents though

Sweet - great to see Dylan Andrews win his TUF17 fight today too....nothing too exciting but controlled most of the fight and deserved the win...

Yeah, confirmed broken jaw, which is impressive given it went the distance.

May have lost but his chin passed the test.

Reading now that this event's ring was only approved by the commission 2 hours before the prelim's. They had to borrow ring post pads from a local promotion because their were too thin, and they had to fly in the old canvas they used at their first show because the new one was too short.

I want WSOF to do well, they have a good TV deal and choice is always a good thing.

On a day where Aoki win's ONE FC's Lightweight title (dominating Kotetsu Boku), its Rose Namajunas with the sub of the day with a flying armbar 12secs into her fight with Kathina Catron:

Bec Hyatt picked up a win, thoroughly trouncing Jasminka Cive.

But Fiona Muxlow got an expected beatdown at the hands of Cris Cyborg. After Coenen and now Cyborg I hope Invicta gives her another fight that's a more even match up, especially since since lost two scheduled oppoents and stepped up to face Cyborg. And Michelle Waterson waged a pretty intense grappling battle, and survived a close armbar, to beat Jessica Penne int he 4th for the Invicta Atomweight title.

Saddest news of the day is Melvin Manhoef snapping his 3 fight win streak, dropping a decision to Brock Larson, after he had Brock s******g bricks and doing his best Kalib Starnes:

Jens Pulver was also d'Arced by Masakatsu Ueda, and should really consider taking up coaching.

UFC on Fuel 9 tomorrow, and all the wind has been sucked out of it now Gustafsson is out. I just hope Mousasi dominates (as he should), but stranger things have happened. Only match that interests me is Pearson v Couture. Hoping Randy's boy picks up the win.

Well, he didn't dominate but jabbed his way to victory. Apparently was carrying a knee injury.

Couture got KO'ed so I'm curious to see if he's got a pink slip headed his way.

Tuf matches this weekend. Was so hoping Dylan Andrews would win his semi but he suffered death by jab from Uriah Hall who is just a different class. Really hope they both go well in the UFC, both seem good guys...
