Lebron didnt shake hands ???

are you kidding, it is known that he has no shot, he isn't a shooter and that is shown by his percentages and clearly shown by his 8-20 (2-8 from 3 and the rest were 1 free throw line jumper and lyaups and dunks) performance in game 6, when your shooting sub par 30 percent from 3, (not to mention in round1 of the playoffs he shot the most threes of the playoffs and averaged 17%) as well as low 40 from fg then your not classified as a good shooter, from time to time he lights up but since when have u seen him have games wheres his been hot throughout the whole game such as kobe or even jordan, never...

also it is well known that his fg percentage is only average because majority of his shots are dunks and layups, players like kobe or even wade even tho they drive, shoot more mid range shots

And again I say, did you watch any of the playoffs? He was sub-par in the Game 6...but for the rest of the series he averaged 41ppg and shot the lights out from all over the court. DID YOU WATCH ANY OF THE SERIES? Stats mean stuff all mate. (And this is coming from a guy who is not actually a fan of Lebron in any way and usually is against him).

Read into it what you will, I feel people get overly SENSITIVE about such incidents. Lebron's a real competitor, and he's already explained himself in his press statements, its like congratulating someone for beating you up, it's just not what he does. Anyway, with the amount of whiplash that he got from the media, trust that his PR guy is telling Bron to just give them a pound or two if the same thing happens in the future.

He's frustrated, Cavs had a record season only to have it end on a bitter note. They squandered double digit leads and they could have been in the Finals if it hadn't been for those lapses in their concentration and focus. Cut the man some slack. He was out-freaking-standing no matter what the final seconds of Game 6 did to his image.

like i said, let me see him do that against great defensive teams like boston or spurs, Milwaukee are possible one of the worst teams defensive wise and just showing me one clip where he is hot doesnt cut it, they play 82 games in a season, your guaranteed to have atleast one hot game, even the worst of players have atleast a hot game. back to what i said, his free throw percentage is what, 72, 75 %, i mean big men have better free throw percentages than that. im not saying hes crap, all im saying is that he is overrated i mean he isnt the output greatest in the league, look at players like dwyane wade and stuff. he isnt as genetically gifted as lebron, hes carried his team to the ship and now he is single handedly carrying his team, whilst lebron can't complain he has a great supporting cast in mo and delonte, even verajou, they all do there part. all im saying is that he doesn't deserve the comparison to jordan or kobe, those guys are way ahead of him. look at his cards for instance, they sell for thousands at times, that proves how he is overrated. i bet if you met him u'd be pleasantly suprised at the person he is, he is uneducated, i mean he nearly failed highschool and past players who played with him such as larry hughes have brought negative feedback about him on his cockiness and how he thinks its the bron show all the time. i'm just sick and tired of heraing lebron, lebron, lebron i mean for me he just isn't that great, yet i mean, maybe college could of made his shooting better

I am with you this time. Not often but..

I have been a manager of many soccer teams over the past 9 years. Sometimes I shake hands and other times I don't. There is no reason for doing it. Just when it happens it happens. I talk and get on with the other coaches and managers before and after the game and really I see nothing wrong with what I do.

NBA is about hype and I just s'pose this is adding to it. World champs for winning a country based event. Par leezz. Hype..

stats mean stuff all, are you joking mate, they base the MVP pretty much on their stats, im not saying lebron isn't a stat sheet filler, all i ever said was he is a sub par shooter, he did not shoot the lights out all series, throughout the magic series he shot bairly 40 percent, research before you make an argument

too much spew to wade through?, can you explain what that means, but yeah i guess i am hating pretty bad. i'm just sick of people bowing down before lebron, in my opinion and even the opinion of several of last years rookie class if you watched their induction don't rate him as the best player, he is the most genetically built for bball and sure can drive and dunk but all i said was compared to some great shooters, he is very average, his fg percentage may be okay, but this is due to the amount of drives and dunks he gets, not to mention when he gets fouled it doesn't count as a fg attempt, and how many times does he get fouled?? and when you shoot under 70%, you got some practice to do as a proffesional

didn't lebron win MVP this year? doesn't that mean he played an ok season - surely the award is not based on one hot game against the bucks and another against new york...

didn't lebron take cleveland to the finals with a team that practically resembles this year's heat in 07?

the kobe/jordan and maybe lebron debate has been "on" for a long time and will prob continue like comparisons of greats in any sports. but opinions based on hate is a bit childish - i don't really like kobe that much but damn he's a great player!!!

lebron did display a rare flaw that came out of left field. everyone's disappointed - but i am sure he'll be the most.

lol i agreed he is a stat sheet filler, and are you kidding lebrons team was far superior than that of the 07 miami team, i mean i would trade mo williams, ben wallace, anderson v, dolonte west, joe smith, ilgausgas, and scebiak (sorry about mispelling) for the likes of an injur riddle zoe and an out of form shaq, as well as a struggling shooter in jason williams. back to what i said with shooting, lebron had a better fg % than kobe bcoz he drives ALOT more, dunks, lay ups all counts as a fg attempt, kobe on the other hand is not a refs favourite and doesnt get a lot of calls. i mean lebron will go down as one of the greatest and most athletic players to ever play. all this argument started with was that he is an average shooter, his free throws are a good indication of this as they aren't pushed up due to dunks and layups as his fg % is..the hot games also that i refered to were basically me expressing that lebron doesn't have many games where he lights it up 'shooting wise' he is mainly a slasher and driver.

Getting back on topic, was I the only one that had a problem with Dwight firing off that three at the buzzer? He didn't have to beat the buzzer or anything like that, seems as though everyone missed it or just plain ignored it altogether. That to me is much like rubbing salt in the wounds and would someone who did that deserve a 'great series' handshake, regardless of the doubts of good sportmanship from the player who refused to congratulate? Surely if we're going to make as big a fuss of Brons actions you have to take it into account.

And for the record, dispite how it looks, I'm not a Dwight 'hater'.

I for one, haven't got a problem with Dwight firing up that last second three. Dwight's that sort of bloke though, he likes to joke around and it was all in the moment, he wasn't out to embaress anyone with that 3 point attempt. It's like Muggsy going for a hook shot, how many times are you going to make that? If the Magic were trapping on defense and fouling THEN I have a problem. And if Dwight attempted a dunk, THEN I'd have a problem.

Good points. I know what kind of guy he is, well as much as I can only seeing him through the media and not knowing the dude first hand, but he does seem like a genuinely good guy with a decent sense of humor.

But firing up a three like that I still think is an insult even if it was just harmless celebration on his behalf. What if it had dropped? I don't think it's that bad, but I think if Bron is going to be judged on his actions, you need to take that into account.

Did Bron see it and think 'well **** you then?' Possibly...
