Latest Movie/DVD you've seen, and what would you rate it...

Seen a lot of movies since the last post, but just watched BROTHERS tonight... Knew nothing about it, didn't even read the back of the dvd when the mrs brought it home but damn what an intense war movie... Can't remember seeing a "war" movie like it, deals with more of the after effects of war then war itself - 4/5

Watched Little Fockers and Unstoppable at home tonight thanks to graboid

Both left a lot to be desired but entertaining enough...

watched 'Despicable Me' on the weekend and thought it was fantastic 8/10. A very funny easy film to watch that kept me entertained until the end. I also watched 'Skylines'. Hmmmmm what to say.......... what to say............ well basically it was like a bad porno without the sex. I give it a 3/10. The only thing that was good about it was the special effects. Will never get that 90 mins back :(

Recently watched "Up" which i thought was fantastic, plenty of laughs throughout.

Got a few new ones at home to watch on the weekend :D

Yeah 'Up' was brilliant. Made the Mrs cry though at the start ha ha. If you like Up you'll like Despicable Me.

Devil , wasnt too bad, had its moments, but a bit of a snorer like some of M Night's last few flicks.

Dante's Inferno (Anime) , pretty good movie, lots of gore.

State of Play, interesting movie, worth a watch. Comes across as one of those movies thats been done a few times ... guess they all do eventually. Seem to me a bit like All The Presidents Men

Shrek 3, pretty funny Donkey and Puss the highlights. be interesting to see what the Puss In Boots movie will be like.

Got the following to watch, The Town, Aeon Flux, Unstoppable & Shutter Island

The Fighter - 7/10 Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale. Story of the battlers, boxing, pretty good acting

Champion - 9/10 Documentary on the life of Danny Trejo (Machete, Desperado etc). Epic insights in to the good and bad sides of life.

Sanctum - 5/10 good visual effects and decent acting, cave diving expedition gone wrong. Aussie accents galore, made on the gold coast, Spielberg endorsed.

Bale made that movie, i thought he was great in it.
Might have to check out Champion, Trejo is awesome!

He was great in it, seeing the special features with the interviews with the actual dudes in it he nailed the brothers actions and stuff.
He has a commitment to the character for sure, incredible ability to thin down and bulk up for roles he does, was trying to pick when it might have actually been filmed, was thinking around the time he did The Machinist otherwise if it was after Batman he yet again dropped a heap of weight to get to that size!

Yeah its crazy watching the bonus features, he's spot on for the brother. The Machinist was another incredible acting performance from him, such dedication to his roles. Pretty sure the Fighter was filmed after Batman from what i can find on the net there was a few years difference in release dates of the films.
