Afternoon guys,
Been a while since I posted and like the idea of the mail month posts I’ve been creeping on so here are my latest pick ups.

Have wanted a 2001 chrome refractor forever and when a black popped up I grabbed it. Baffled how this is graded a 6 and will resubmit it when the backlog clears in 2033. #/50

A couple of mid 90’s graded Jordan’s. No reason other than he is the GOAT.

Saw this Rock Star and snapped it up. Beautiful card in hand and in fantastic condition.

And the big finale……
A grail of mine that I waited way too long to get. It’s a gorgeous card and in the top handful of cards I own. Loved unboxing it and letting the light shine across the face.

Thanks for looking!

Wowee! Thansk for sharing mate - old school inserts and refractors are the bomb!

If the first card graded a 6 it must be for some imperfection they pick up on some of their more advanced grading tools which are generally unnoticable to the naked eye. it's times like this that BGS sub-grades would prove handy....

Ahhhh ok. Thanks for the heads up! I’ll still attempt it at some point and most likely go for subgrades so I know.

Have a look at this vid from about 16:13 onwards - shows you what sort of 'imperfections' these gradign companies can pick up which are not observable to the naked eye, typically, some sort of surface imperfection shich is where the subgrades would help confirm it.
