hi all, was intrested in playing baseball but not even sure if their are any leagues in tasmania, anyone know of any?

cheers, think i might have a go, never got into playing footy, and after playing basketball for 8 hours a day for 3 years during college my knees don't like it no more as much as i do lol

man i sucked at it but i was playing.
So you will be fine. At the start of each season they usually run some drills for new guys. To run you through the basics.
It is good to see them go to wooden bats, I actually hit better with them but didn't want to use them cause if yu broke it you paid for it lol.
Also the games hardly ever go the full 9 innings as the ground is hired for 2hours per match.

well i am pretty sure i'l be crap, can't throw to save my life so i an't going to be pitching unless they want my special super slow ball lol, so am going to have to hit it now and then

lol you will be in the outfield for sure. unless you can run and catch then perhaps one of the bases or short stop.
