Best way to be sure would be through Upper Deck. It seems to have a serial on the back, so you could probably check it either on the website or via email to UD.

I would suggest the same with Dr.C

or email to FIT@upperdeck.com along with the scans.. (i think the email addy is correct).

looks legit coz these are the official released for SPA 99-00 buybacks for Kobe

1999-00 SP Authentic BuyBack K.Bryant 96-7SP/8 3
1999-00 SP Authentic BuyBack K.Bryant Redemption 3A
1999-00 SP Authentic BuyBack K.Bryant 96-7SPHo/1 4
1999-00 SP Authentic BuyBack K.Bryant 97SPx/1 5
1999-00 SP Authentic BuyBack K.Bryant 97-8SPA/7 6
1999-00 SP Authentic BuyBack K.Bryant 97-8SPAPro/1 7
1999-00 SP Authentic BuyBack K.Bryant 98-9SPA/132 8

but please do check with UD..

hope it helps

I'm sure those early SP buybacks had those shape stickers on the back. I would email the seller asking about the COA though. That would de-value it if it is missing. I would say the FIT guys might be able to inform you on that one too. Certainly looks legit for his early auto's and with everything I've seen or know so far.

I would really want to see the certificate.

By the fact of the high reserve it is probably legit, but I am always cautions with those buybacks.

As everyone is saying, ask UD.

Doubt it's fake, just missing the coa. But I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time). Unless they've taken the sticker from a cheaper buyback maybe? But I'm sure it would be very tough swapping them over. It is a pethate of mine when people don't look after the COA card, lose it or throw it away. Pretty silly. I have one Pierce buyback missing the COA card, wasn't happy when it arrived without it.

for this kind of card i prefer not to have any doubt so if the coa is missing i would not take it,moreover this card is on ebay for a while so a lot of collectors think that it would be probably a fake!

Finally ,there's a lot of others kobe 1/1 on ebay with COA so if you are ready to own one just be patient ;-)
