Have to agree with you here. They traded VC for next to nothing in a move that, unfortunately, had to be done. Jalen shouldn't be there much longer. Chris Bosh says he tries to play his game like KG, but when will he ever put up KG style numbers? KG was the only star in Minnesota til Starbury came, and even then he left. KG was then playing with Terrell Brandon til Wally came, kept putting up great numbers on his own. If Bosh wants to play like KG, he has to hit the 20-10-5 line heaps more often. Araujo has been a bigger bust than Olowakandi (if that's possible!) and Villanueva has shown glimpses in the preseason, but yet to turn it on in the season proper.
On the plus side, I like the look of Calderon, he'll be better over time. Should take the starting spot from Mike James in time too. I do like James, and the Raps were wise to get rid of Alston, but they are just floundering season after season. Here's hoping the removal of Babcock and some smarter scouts will do SOMETHING to get them off the bottom end of the lottery.
