Welcome! Best advice I can give is get yourself down to a card show and start chatting to other collectors.
The great thing about the hobby is we all love the same things and are happy to share/discuss our own collections and how we got started etc.

The next big Brisbane show is The Hobby Hangout which is on October 9th.
