Getting in to cricket cards.

Hi guys, I am a collector of cricket memorabilia, played cricket for some time. But have never collected cards. I am an NRL collector, I am wondering what you would recommend as a first series to start? Also where the best place to buy boxes is, other than Cardzone if possible? I after something with some nice inserts but not so many it is impossible to collect. Also how easy is it to get cricket cards signed, I'd be interested in getting a fully signed base set.
