East Coast Collectables is coming! (31/8/11 FREE COMP/GIVEAWAY )

Good morning fellow OCT'ers. Exciting news to announce! As we all know the collecting community in Australia is growing quite nicely, with a few on and offshore options in regards to our collections, I thought that I could offer a service to our fellow members! Being based in brisbane, we will be shipping all across the country for you guys. In the next few months East Coast Collectables will be launching!


Based online at the moment, we will be offering a number of hobby boxes for your collecting needs! Everything from basketball/baseball/hockey/UFC and celebrity boxes.. As well as livebox breaks, pre recorded breaks,swap meets and various competitions and promos.


Being still in the prelaunch stages at the moment! we need some help form the members here! What boxes do you want? We currently have a tennintive list in mind.. However in the way of cases Vs boxes we need your suggestions!! What do you want? Be it some old school 90s boxes to current high end..or some mid range "fun" boxes? Complie your list here and we will sit down and work out what you guys want!

Hey guys, we are running a free comp at the moment! The way it works is: we will be busting a entertainment,basketball,NFL box, with all the hits bein sent out to members in the draw..all you have to do to enter is post a suggestion on this thread regarding what stock you want to see,marketing ideas,networking,group teams...any suggestion will get you a spot in the draw...the results wil be based on all entries being randomized, and if the total of hits is "7" "10" "8" etc then that number of members will get a hit...once number of hits is totaled then another random list will be made regarding order of boxes broken and order of members allocated to "there number of hit" entries will close in 2 weeks time!! OK, here are some thoughts

1. early Marvel boxes (Universe, Masterpieces etc)
2. some of the Leaf products are popular ATM.
3. Razor stuff is popular
4. There seems to be a good market for movie/tv show releases, Dexter, WH13 and stuff like that
5. Star Wars Galaxy..........now that would be nice.

agree with Dave,also you need to cater for sports & non sport, if your playing on the ''east coast'' theme then NRL/AFL/Cricket are the big sports....Also accurate shipping is a must no point giving good prices then slugging in the postage...

I'm not in the market atm, but in the future I might be keen on some late 90's early 00's boxes, some of the best cards could be had out of those boxes.

No 2008/09 boxes? Are they too expensive at the moment? I wouldn't mind some 10/11 Adrenalyn there but that's just me

Yeah the prices are a bit high, but if that's what you guys want then I can add some in..What are you thinking of? will also make a note about the 10/11 Adrenalyn.

I guess the main ones would be Hot Prospects, Topps Hobby and...maybe other guys should help you. I don't really buy many boxes

For me, would love to gets my hands on 2010/11 National Treasures !!!!!
As for 90s boxes, the 98/99 and 99/00 Bowman Boxes are good value for money

Good to see something get setup in Brisbane!

I definitely some cheaper boxes from the 00's would be good for a pick up. I don't buy alot of a boxes so definitely variety at a cheaper price would be great.
