Really sad news this morning. Stern's time and impact is huge and guided the nba through some rocky times

100% this.....the stories which he would have known about and the "bodies" he help bury (see All Star Weekend 2011 story) would have made for an amazing autobiography!

While didn't agree with everything the guy did or said, his impact on the NBA Globally was huge and the league and its players and fans owe him a huge debt of gratitude.

Probably one of the best League Commissioners that's ever gone around!
