A well-deserved honour!
On Wednesday 8 October 2008 before a capacity crowd at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, one of Australia's greatest baseball exports David Nilsson was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
David entered the Hall of Fame with swimmer Ian Thorpe, Winter Olympics gold medallist Alisa Camplin, rugby league champion Allan Langer, tennis players Todd Woodridge and Mark Woodforde, Australian football and media identity Lou Richards, and swimming coach John Carew.
On behalf of the Australian Baseball Federation and its members, we would like to sincerely congratulate David on his well-deserved award.
