Hi, I don't follow basketball any more (dropped out 1996) so out of knowledge, my friend needs some cards for his 7yr old nephew
who has decided that basketball is the go for him.
is there anyone on here that sells packets from cheap sets from the last couple of years 2000/2022.
as I don't know whether he has decide on who to follow until they get back to me later in the week
so just thought a few packets might be the go at the moment.
any help appreciated
Thanks

Kmart currently stock low end Hoops and Donruss packs which are great for kids.

This might be a good start as you can buy a few and they can start a base set. Just keep in mind these packs only come with one green variant and no chance of auto cards.

If you want the Hoops with a chance at pulling autos from packs you would be looking for the 8 Cards per pack version and they run anywhere from 6-$10 per pack (EB Games stock these at $10 a pack). Alternatively, there is Prizm Retail that is dropping at EB Games in September, the single packs for that go for $10 a pack or $40 multi pack. The Prizm Retail can be an expensive path to get them into for future releases as it's usually most sought after, which means hard to find at retail price and sometimes sold out for long periods, so keep that in mind.

Highly recommend a mixed lot from sjay2k

Can also get individual packs of 90's til 20's

check it out - there's also eb games and zing which have packs and hangers and sometimes blaster boxes

I'll also send you a PM - i've got some random cards from boxes I've opened I'll get them out for you and he can look at players and designs and maybe that will help narrow it down too!

Mr Toys Toyworld had stacks of Donruss and Panini when I was in there the other day. Nice looking cards for a base set.

If he decides on collecting a specific team let us know, plenty of base stuff around I'm sure.

Hello again and many, many thanks to Matt (GarnettFan4Life) for the cards.
I heard back from the lad's uncle and to say the boy is over the moon with the cards he received would be an under statement,
and instead of watching he's brother at the footy he spent most of the time checking the cards.
Thanks again you really made the lad very happy.
Cheers Ken
