Cable and ADSL??

Hi

Does anyone know if its possible to have Cable internet and ADSL at the same time?

My big sister got my mum to sign up for (Telstra) ADSL with only 600mb worth of d/l a month! Its also a locked contract.

Stupid sister!

Anyho is it possible for me to get Cable via Optus??

Do they use the same lines?

Cable is seperate altogether from ADSL - does not use a phone line.... at least that's how I think it works.....

You can change your Telstra ADSL plan - its just gonna cost ya.... you can upgrade to 10 gig d/l a month..... $60 a month on 256 and $70 a month on 512..... unless she got the half price deal.....

you can change up and down with telstra any time! No cost at all apart from the plan cost....

Yes it is possible. Optus Cable runs off a completely different network.

my freind has cable $60 a month with 40gb worth on d\l.
