I went to the T20 Allstars game in Mackay last night. Really good night they did a kids session before the game and then had fireworks. Bulls won the toss and bowled first.
Nic Maddinson opened with Corey Richards and put couple balls on the roof. Brad Haddin made a quickfire 75 also with some big hits. Ground was wet so lots of catches went down and The Blues finished with 196 off their 20 overs.
Joe Burns and Jimmy Maher got the majority of the runs with Burns getting a century and then Chris Lynn continuing his amazing twenty20 form hitting 6 sixes to finish the chase in 15 overs only one down.
All the players stayed around for over an hour after the game talking, signing and taking pictures for everyone. They really helped to promote cricket in the more rural areas and also raised money for charity.
