A friend of mine from here (Azza) sent me this recently as he does not collect cricket memorabilia. I think it may be Keith Miller but I am not really sure and I have no idea where it comes from. It looks to be a print on a yellowish (old) piece of paper.

Apart from the title at the bottom which states "The Golden Age of the Cricketer" there are no other markings to indicate how old or where this comes from.

I am hoping some of the cricket mafia can help me out!

Edit - If you read on you will see it turned out to be a Promo of Don Bradman

Any help would be appreciated

I don't know Paul but to me it looks like Bradman. I don't think it is Keith miller or Neil Harvey.
I'm sure someone on here will know. Nice pickup mate.

My first thoughts were that it was Bradman. I wouldnt put too much creedence into the batsman behind being left handed.

I googled the rather unique name "The Golden Age of the Cricketer" and came up with the studio linked below. I have a feeling, looking at the style of their work and some of their ebay listings that this may have come from them. Might be worth dropping them a line and asking them ....

Well Naz - You were SPOT ON!

This is the response I got:

Its Cricketer Sir Donald Bradman, and thats a promo for my card series The Golden Age of the Cricketer. I have given those prints out with card orders. It will also be available for sale with The Sportsmen of Oz set but on better paper and without the crease down the middle.

Updates on that set in the next 48 hours.

Thanks

Evan
