Big League Magazines - 1970's

All the dates in the 1976 issues were wrong up until mid-year with regards to dates on the front cover and inside near the index. I am after no 4 which is the Mal Reilly pin-up, you have issue 10 (24-30 April) which is Manly team pin-up which I already have. the cover of your mag should be Paul Khan from the Sharks being tackled by a dragons player.

the best thing to do is look at your 1976 and 1977 issues with regards to the pin-up to see if I need it. I was confused by the dates too as some double up, they obviously had printing issues that year. I had to check with Dans NRL collectibles who also confirmed that they stuffed up a lot of the dates that year. LOL.

Were you able to find any others? Also let me know if you have any 1975 mags, advise the number, date and pin-up

Michael, still looking have not found any of the ones your looking for yet, have found a heap of sports novels from the 40 50s and sports life from 50 60s that I had forgotten about, piles of rugby leaguer and other english ones as well.

10 is Cronulla team
13 is South Sydney team
15 is Canterbury team
19 is Penrith Team
20 is Mark Harris (Eastern Suburbs)

I can't help with 3 and 4.

I'm chasing a number of issues of issues from 1975 to 1980 so if you have some contacts, please let me know.

18 is the Parramatta Team.

I'm looking for from 1975 issues 3,4, 9, 11, 16, 22, 25 & 27. There are a few others I would like to upgrade as I didn't look after them as well as i should have in my younger days.

From 1976 I need 1, 5, 6, 7, 18, 23, and 28. Again a couple of others to upgrade

From 1977 I need 2, 12, 18, 24, 28, 29 & 31.

Need a lot from 1978,1979 and 1980. I managed to finish 1981.

I'm like you. Fussy about the condition. Posters, no writing or rips and creases. If you come across some please let me know. It's a project i stopped a few years back but after reading your posts it's got me a bit interested again.

I found these on ebay that you need. I have brought some from the seller newshintaro and they have been in quite good condition but make sure you look clearly at the pics.
