Australian card show chat

Hi all,

We've been fortunate the past couple of years to have some decent sized shows to attend.

What has been everyone's experiences so far?

I almost took a random trip to Melbourne to go to the HH but decided to wait until Brisbane.

Have they been what you expected?

If not, what would you like to see? What do you expect from a stall?

Do you go for packs, singles, the experience?

Obviously I would love to see it get to a Dallas Card Show level where you have a lot of quality.

I really enjoyed the Melbourne HH 2 years ago, I did set up though so was stuck for a long while.

Would love to hear from people that have gone or set up! Did you do well or was it just for fun?

I think Brissy HH should be up next in Feb/March but no chat yet.

I am not paying $35 anymore to go. I end up spending more on entry than on cards.

For big timers it's ok, but i just want to browse cheaply in the kiddie piles

Wow, they still do 'card shows', awesome, I haven't been to one for nearly 20 years, I use to go to one at Mansfeild QLD (once every 2-3 months?), more like the markets, sold plants there too LOL

Anyways, I'm interested to know more about the Brisbane one... where abouts and the date?

I just kinda wanted to see what its like again
