AFL/VFL Trading Card Photoshop

Here is a request that I made... Larkey Coleman Medallist Booklet. Couldn't find a reasonable sample of his signature online, so just put a generic 'signature'on there:

Just wanted to test the template that I made out against the original card. Came out pretty good. I used photos from the platinum card and gold card and created a hybrid of the two.

Never had a magnetic one-touch booklet template, so thought I'd make one to chuck any horizontal booklet cards into. Rather than always displaying as a 3D mock-up:

Love this set... but if I had one annoyance it is that I don't like how they've done the dual club medallists. Thought I'd change the orientation of the colours around the medal.

Hi any chance you could make a 1994 common card with signature . Perhaps a white section on the bottom of card where players can sign. Harry Sheezel would be good.

No worries at all... I'll try get around to it this evening. I've already got the template as I remade that set a few years ago.

Here you go... slightly updated so it is like a 2024 'Retro' release to celebrate 30 years since the 1994 set. Included older logos to add a bit of nostalgia. This has genuinely got me thinking about making the entire set  Haha

That’s awesome. Hope Select bring these back the greatest common set of all time. Or even back as an insert similar to Footy’s Finest but signed

I've taken this new project to A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL (absolute lunacy)! We'll see how we go, but creating an entire set. Here is the work I've put into it so far:
- Massively updated the rear of the 1994 Select template I made years ago to include some more modern features (e.g. mini-guernsey with number, team logo, etc.)
- Updated the 'Gold' card and 'Legend' card templates to have a holofoil background. A more modern type of insert card.
- Created an Excel spreadsheet with full player data, so each players name/birthday/position/number/team/stats/etc. can be updated in PhotoShop at the click of a button.
- Created an Excel spreadsheet with insert ratios calculated by card/packet/box/case
- Created a promotional check-list in PhotoShop. I made this one from scratch.
- Created a packet in PhotoShop... I made the template years ago, but this was a big upgrade.
- Created a box in PhotoShop... I the template years ago, but once again this is was a big upgrade.
- Created a display folder in PhotoShop (based on the 1994 Select folders). Made from scratch... wanted a unique template to display the set.

Ignoring the cards I made on the promo check-list we are nine cards down... a hell of a lot more to go (if I ever finish the project). Haha.

HECTIC!

Half-way through this STUPID undertaking... but here is an update. Made some minor updates after my initial post. The template and use of Excel is a MASSIVE time-saver, but the research of photos and then modifying is a MASSIVE time-drainer. I've done gold cards for Adelaide-GWS, but I'll save them for my final post (whenever that comes).

Also... I want to credit BigFooty member @lake81 who re-created the 1990s team logos used on the backs. Amazing work and I wanted to try incorporate them in some how.

Dunno if I'll finish the above... bloody monotonous project, and not all that mentally stimulating. Haha. Here are some recent 'remake' projects I've done though, because I wanted to make a Topps Now template (the Ohtani patch auto is an original idea unreleased):
