Acheron Mint VFL/AFL cards

Wanting to know if anyone is collecting these cards and/or creating awareness.


Acheron Mint cards from USA - http://studio-hades.com/

Evan Driscoll is an artist in the USA and runs Studio Hades.
He has produced several series of hand-drawn limited edition VFL/AFL cards under the title of Acheron Mint.

Many are sold as packs of 18-20 players, each pack containing a sketch card or mini-poster.
Usually only 200-250 packs produced per series – limited edition – sold at around $25 per pack.

Only made around 4 of each player sketch card or poster (some were unique one-off sketch cards) – so very limited and rare. Sketch cards sold on Ebay for around $200 – 300 each.

Main series were:
2013 – Sportsmen of Oz
2014 – Inside 50s
2015 – Inside 60s
2016 – Inside 70s; Inside 60s series 2
2017 – Sportsmen of Oz series 2; Koryn’s Karnival
2019 – Short Print series of several players – limited to 8 - 12 individually numbered cards for each player.

• Korny’s boxtops AFL/VFL players – set of 26
• Korny’s kutouts State of Origin – set of 26
• Easi oats mini-cards – approx. 45 different players (3-5 cards produced per player)

I am a keen collector of these cards.

I'm also a keen collector of these cards over the last 3 years. The cards are well illustrated and production is of a high quality. There seems to be strong interest in these cards on Ebay. I'm sure interest in these cards will increase in the future.

I really love these sets and have been lucky enough to complete two of them myself - they look amazing and are of super high quality... easily some of my favourite sets of cards I have come across!

There have only been 3 Dusty cards produced so far (2019 and two in 2020), each are a one of one card, so real unicorns.
Will be virtually impossible to track down.

Thanks for letting me know and I never realised they were one off cards! I actually picked the third one of them pictured up on eBay last year, so I’ll count myself very lucky indeed knowing that!
