2017 Elite Crystal Collection (JT Image Error)

Hi,

First post on Oz Card Trader but I believe I have noticed an error in the 2017 Elite Crystal Collection. 2002 - Johnathan Thurston (CC16) is actually an image of Roy Asotasi taking a hit-up. See image below.

Anyway, I understand that there is a seperate section for introductions but here are some items I have in my collection:

1980-1985 Scanlens (Cards/Sticker Albums) Complete Sets (My Original Collection)
1964-2017 Canterbury Bulldogs Base Sets
2005-2017 Canterbury Bulldogs Parallel Sets
2000-2017 Canterbury Bulldogs Base Sets (IP) missing 6 signatures over the 18 years
1998/2004/2016/2017 Canterbury Bulldogs (Club Release)
1981 Ardmona Canterbury Bulldogs
1994-2017 Dynamic/Select/ESP Unopened packets
2000-2017 Flyer/Checklist (A4)
1975-2005 Canterbury Bulldogs Team Poster (Big League Magazine)
1997 Canterbury Bulldogs Team Poster (Super League Magazine/Club Release)
2006-2017 Canterbury Bulldogs Team Poster (Club Release)

All cards are kept in Ultra-Pro Platinum Premium Cards Sleeves in Ultra-Pro Pro-Binders.

Just a highlight package, many other items also stored away.

Well picked up Brad, pretty major stuff up for a major sub set of this release. Hopefully a correction card will be forthcoming. Will this be a very collectable mistake?

Solid collection as well, what 6 signatures are you missing maybe some other Dogs tragics can help.

Yeah, the Aaron Groom/Heka Nanai 2009 Champions error is forgivable as are other lesser known players and the occasional spelling error, but for a Johnathan Thurston Series - a player who would have to be one of the most decorated and recognisable faces in Rugby League and no doubt a future immortal, I just don't understand how this could happen and as you said a "Pretty Major Stuff Up".

In regards to my own collection it really started up again when my dad passed away and the birth of my two boys. My original sets - Scanlens 1980-1985 are in poor condition, (Cards - Rubber bands placed around them, flicked against walls and stuck and removed from scrap books of the years and the sticker albums cramped into my old school back pack).

But to be honest these are still my favourite sets as they bring back so many fond memories.

@seano93 also picked up on the Knights Tom/Josh Starling mojo mix up .Just had 2 101s but my tip is they deliberately do it .Gets people talking and collectors get a replacement. Win win anyway haha
