2013/2014 A League + Socceroos Box Break

So I bought a box of the 2013/2014 A League + Socceroos Trading cards for what I think was a bit of a bargain at $80. Seen most other boxes for $130+

Being a massive Melbourne Victory fan I was particularly keen to pick up some of the following cards (bit of a long shot on some of them).

Overall: So a mixed bag of results really. Pretty pumped with my Schwarzer Triple Threat and my Smeltz Signature, but a little bit disappointed there were no Socceroos Signatures (big long shot I know) or a few more Medallists. I did quite well however with my A League Medallists only picking up two, with both being Melbourne Victory players.

Favourite find out of this break is definitely the Smeltz signature, despite being easier to find then the Triple Threat. Not all about $$ values, some cards are just cooler!

Positive overall is that I have a great base for a collection and can now work towards getting my hands on some of the ones I really want.

Did a 5 pack mini-bust yesterday. Scored Berisha All-Star, so pretty happy with that.

Not disappointed, but not overjoyed. Beat the odds, so can't be too upset

On another note - really starting to like the design of the All Star cards. Could be a nice little collection in that. Good ratios at 1:16 too.

Chris, depending on how picky you are, there are also two Carlos Hernandez Medallist cards that depict him in Victory Colours and say Melbourne Victory on them, might want to add them to your checklist...

Very good point and two steps ahead! Now on my wanted list. If it's got a Victory connection, I want it!
