hi guys can you help me understand the ...1984 Star Michael Jordan XRC...

Was there a number of his cards released in the 1984 set?

if so how did they decide which one is his XRC?

There was #101, Olympic Team Card #195 and Rookie of the Year #288. They call #101 an Extended Rookie Card (XRC) because Beckett decided the Star Co cards were a special release set that wasn’t available at traditional retail locations and was sold in that Chicago Bulls team set. That’s why they consider the fleer the RC card because it was a standard retail release with randomised cards in each packet. I stand to be corrected though!

I was reading a few articles on it recently because there was a Star card in a Jordan lot on eBay that just finished. Did anyone else see that? I think the font on the back was too thin to be real.

Yes i saw that on ebay. I did not think it was real either to be honest
