    2019/20 cricket cards

Agree Cameron. Lots could be said, but what would be the point. Some further issues with the album checklist regarding the subsets. I have updated my original post above with those details. Hope these details are of some help.

    2019/20 cricket cards

Checklists from the album... Note the following issues: Base Cards: * BBL/WBBL cards are listed first, but the card numbering begins from the Men's Test, i.e. #1 * Adelaide Strikers: #60 is listed as Ben Laughlin when the actual card is Wes AGAR * Sydney Thunder: #183 is listed as Jos Butler...

    Teamcoach 2020

Thanks for posted details of your box bust @Beamsy17 - pretty bad collation to get that many doubles of the inserts. Clearly getting harder to get a full set of commons from a box these days, given the size of the common set & so many subsets. Also 2 golds a pack doesn’t help. Haven’t see...

    Teamcoach 2020

Things are a bit grim! Spoke to my local newso (always a reliable TC outlet) & they said they are not expecting their stocks (boxes & albums) until NEXT Thursday - 19/03/20

    2019/20 cricket cards

Details on TnP website indicate Hat Trick case cards are numbered to 85 for each player (see image below) That assumes the equivalent of 510 “cases” were produced, i.e. 6 players x 85. But then again these details state that the “Ten Tons” are numbered - so who knows :ermm:

    Teamcoach 2020

Checklists have been posted ahead of tomorrow’s release date. No reference to a ‘Captains’ subset - but TeamCoach have indicated one in their replies to comments, including AFLW Captains. Maybe it’s a McDonalds release like last year.

    2019/20 cricket cards

Good update, thanks. I can understand why it is being done this way to save costs & time, but is it really saving all that much. The earlier post of the “sell sheet” on this thread from @Matt26 indicated only 400 cases being produced & only 60 of those for collectors/hobby suppliers. All the...

    Teamcoach 2020

Teamcoach have fired up their facebook & Instagram accounts for the 2020 release. Gold for their 20th year. Packs still $2.99. 2 gold cards per pack. Release date 12 March 2020.

    2019/20 cricket cards

Yep.. it’s a typo. TnP have updated that Fb post to read “approx 250 cards...” Not quite sure how 250 cards would fit into an album of that design. Might be a pretty tight fit.

    2019/20 cricket cards

The TnP app is back up for iOS/Apple. Given the base card digital checklist has had some views, I've done up a checklist for the digital "Insert" cards that are available within the Premium & Platinum digital packs. Don't have all the cards to allocate a number to them within the various...

    2019/20 cricket cards

All very bizarre, but like all TnP releases...more twists and turns than a corkscrew. I do feel sorry for the people who have outlaid their hard earned coin for the physical release based on the earlier pre-sale details. As per TnP's earlier announcement, the digital version of the release...

    Cardboard Addicts

Was great to watch & in providing a potted history of card collecting in Oz. Congrats & thanks to all the collectors who agreed to be interviewed & so willing to show their collections. The world of NBA card collecting was fascinating, particularly for someone who has never ventured into that...

    2019 Teamcoach

Who would have thought that the commons are now just the same as trying to collect the inserts! If only 5 commons per pack x 36 packs in box = 180 commons in a box. So 54 cards short of a full set (234 cards), which is quite a few. That assume there are no doubles of any common in the box...

What we could expect for 2019 releases

Secondary market sellers are probably still waiting for their stock to arrive. Maybe more listings on the socials once the kids in Vic are out from school. Seems a couple of cards on eBay - a Mason Cox (Collingwood) MAGIC wildcard which disappeared pretty quickly. This one is still listed...

What we could expect for 2019 releases

It is just back to the future stuff. The cards used to be available in AFL stores before newsagents, etc. Maybe they have gone back to those distribution arrangements. You would think the website would be up and running, but maybe we have to wait for a ‘sneak peek” post on Fb or Intra...

What we could expect for 2019 releases

Thanks for the update @Scotty_WCE Pretty disappointing that WA and SA are now back into our ‘Wait Awhile’ & ‘Sometime After’ status with Teamcoach. The last 2 years were really spot on for the release date.

Competition Want to win a box of Tap N Play BBL Cricket Cards?

One for the memories - of what was & what could have been - with the Scorchers BBL08 campaign all but done and dusted last night The WACA ground from the 2017 Ashes release. Scene of many great cricket matches and the unofficial home of the BBL final in the early years. Sure it was old &...

    Upcoming 18/19 A League Season

With no A-league collector cards this season, this is for anyone looking for an A-League fix. Top Trumps have release a set of A-League cards - Top 30 players. More of a game card than a collectors series, and produced by Winning Moves. My understanding this is an Oz subsidiary of the UK...

    No ffa cards next year

No screams of outrage across the Football/Soccer Card collecting community, so this announcement from TnP clearly doesn’t come as any surprise. IMO a disappointing decision but not unexpected. The box/pack format is never going to be economically viable when it seems there is no sense of who...
