I didn't ask to send it registered. I gave the guy the padded mailer that only had 2 cards on it. He weighed it. It was 85 grams. Then he said its 12 express or 9.30 normal. Told me I would have to use a normal envelope for it to be cheaper?

So I could bypass the idiots at my post office by just buying bulk padded mailers and stamps. Then just sending it out myself? Use $2.20 worth of stamps and I'll be sweet?

So basically if I use the padded envelope and it's less that 40mm thick and fits through the gauge I should only be charged $2.20?
