Sold 4 all paid str away i was going too do was bust packs and sell the non St Kilda ones any way so alot less bother in doing just boxes ,but too be honest it really isnt my go I will keep two too open myself and stay away from cases in the furture

The whole thing was crazy from at 1030 it was sold out too 4mins later god knows how but I got a case too 24hrs later im getting 550 a box and I cant go back cause it wouldnt be fair too the ones who brought a box already. 2020 crazy times

It was nuts, I was on the site at 10.29 refreshing every few seconds, the cases showed as being sold out at 10.30, then I could add to my cart, then the case disappeared, then tried again and managed to get a case, I was very lucky based on all the comments.
How have breakers destroyed the hobby? I got so many refunds from them so they aren’t the cause as most missed out as well!
Most breakers missed out as well. including myself!
It’s the people who aren’t even in the hobby who purchased to sell that have ruined it not the breakers!
I’ve already been offered a case for over 5k from someone that got 2 which 1 was purely to sell.
Most people don’t have the $$$ to drop on cards so if they can make some cash flipping or whatever they do to get the cards they need I have no issue. My issue is the people that aren’t even in the hobby that are doing it for the cash and the cash is leaving the hobby
And the people buying up to sell are doing it because the breakers will most likely pay the price, look at eBay boxes have been selling for $500+, it’s been going on for a while now breakers have been paying overs for boxes because they know they can still make money, supremacy cases were selling for $6k that ended up in breaks, I know of 2 breakers now that have put out a bounty where they will pay $4k for a case of dominance, someone I know got offered $5k for a case today from a breaker, I have 7 cases coming and I’m starting to think I shouldn’t even open a box, just sell cases or boxes, which would defeat the purpose of me buying them as I love busting but the goal posts have shifted that much I’m not sure what to do.
Surely if you could get that kind of money you sell?? )$1200 profit on a case with no work involved compared to how much work it would take to resell. Sure you don’t get the joy of busting but think of the cards you could get with the profit. Surely you will get more joy from than

If I had 7 I would bust one, stash one and flog the rest to pay for the two cases you keep!
At this stage I’ll just be happy to get a friggin box! It’s fantastic to see some of the Retail shops out there still selling for the RRP of $245-250.00 (Yes they are out there) but I can’t say the same for my local shop who had advertised them (and sold out) like this:
$500 reduced to $330 my $&$# ass, more like $250 jacked up to $330 to cash in on the hype!
How is it other retailers are still able to sell at $244/250?
As for the ridiculous prices on eBay......I have no words....
Incidentally ; I bought two of these packs from Select when I could not get any Dominace, they too have sold out now

As someone who only recently started getting back in the hobby, its crazy to see whats going on.

name and shame that shop selling boxes for $330. I'd be calling them out to Select too.

They won’t be the only one so there is no point in shaming just the one plus I am not giving them free exposure.......
At least places like Card Zone and Sports Card World ARE looking after the collectors!
Why it’s only a RRP Shops can sell for whatever they like, cardzone for example try and get any old release for RRP It won’t happen, if people don’t pay the prices people are asking they will soon be lowered, at the end of the day people can ask whatever they like, doesn’t mean they will get it, but if they do well then that’s the price they will keep
I buy regularly from Card Zone and am familiar with their prices. They sell the majority of older releases for RRP or $5-10 above. They were selling 2019 Dominance at $245 a box for months when it was sold out elsewhere, and increased the price to $270 a box when they were down to their last handful of cases. They are completely sold out now.
Card Zone will also be selling boxes tomorrow for $250 each, when the past couple of days have shown they could sell them for $350+ and still sell out quickly.
In general though I think there's a big difference between selling older products above RRP when they have not been available elsewhere for years, compared to a brand new product that many reputable bricks and mortar stores missed out on altogether.
