The Gentlemen 7ish /10 - Now I must start by saying I'll watch anything by Guy Ritchie so even when it stars the less homeless looking version of Woody Harrelson whom I cannot stand (Matthew McConaughey) I still go in semi optimistic.
It's standard fare. Plenty of dialogue, great dry humour , many a beat down and plot twist and a surprisingly entertaining performance by Hugh Grant. It's not up there with his best films, but definitely worth a watch and I'd watch it again. I was honestly very impressed with Hugh Grant's character.

Trolls World Tour ...uh, 5/10?? - I don't know, the kids will like it.

Sonic the hedgehog - 6.5 maybe 7 if you liked playing the game on megadrive or master system back in the day. It was better than I expected, my daughter loved it. Was a welcome relief coming off the back of Trolls world tour 🤣

TRUTH OR DARE (Netflix) this film was everything wrong with modern day horror (if u want to call this horror) A by the number snore fest, that lacked any scares or entertaining value. terrible and forgettable 3/10

UNCORKED (Netflix) a cool little flick that was very out of the ordinary, Some funny moments mixed with a story line of a young man trying to be a sommelier (wine expert) the actors were engaging (the father being the highlight) and script was entertaining.
glad I found this.... 7/10

CONVERSATION WITH A KILLER (THE TED BUNDY TAPES)
wow this Netflix doco was excellent, got wrapped up and binged the whole thing. most will know the story/background of mr bundy, Interesting to hear the story in bundys own words.... and thank god this monster is no longer walking the earth. excellent 8/10

THE RITUAL (Netflix) british horror/ thriller. Enjoyed this film, 4 lads go of on a hiking trip in Sweden only to meet a strange creature deep in the woods.. great mood setting and story...maybe got a little lost with the ending, but all up pretty damm good... 7/10

COFFEE AND KAREEM.. low brow and crude comedy, some very funny scenes mixed with some not so funny scenes..a film that will be forgotten pretty easily 5/10

JERRY SEINFELD- 23 HOURS TO KILL (Netflix) jerry's new 1 hour stand up, was awesome to see that Seinfeld still has it. 1 hour seems to be a perfect time limit (enough time to bring the viewer in, yet still leaves the audience wanting a little more) very funny and has no problem poking fun at himself... great viewing 8/10

OWNING MAHOWNY - from 2003 this little gem with Phillip Seymour Hoffman and john hurt is a true story. Hoffman being a nice guy banker who falls into a gambling addiction and users his jobs $$ to fund his life... excellent film and goes to show just what a fantastic actor Hoffman was.... 8/10

LOVE LIZA - continuing the Seymour Hoffman movie-thon, from 02' comes this dripping in sadness and misery flick seeing Hoffman losing his wife to suicide then falling into a life of glue/petrol sniffing addiction. (As far away to a happy film as one can get) yet film is done very well. the subject manner is always going to prevent this film from being mainstream or viewed by many.
underground gem....8/10

RISING HIGH - (Netflix) German film with English dubbed over the top. Young guy scams his way into wealth and highlife using property market and financing to deceive his clients. Easy to watch, but does not get to any great height .... 6/10

ENTER THE NINJA - straight out of the 80;s B-grade fun, This was out of the CANNON film company. bad script / bad acting / bad directing.
Yet a fantastic fun and enjoyable 90 mins of entertainment. cult cheesy classic... (tongue in cheek *****5 star fun)

Might check out the PSH movies, haven't heard of those. Thanks

I watched Parasite a few nights back (finally), great acting and concept. Interesting to see how they make it into a tv show though. 9/10

THE KITCHEN (Netflix) set in the 70's, around a tough Irish neighbour hood and the organised crime that operates there. the local hoods are locked up and 3 local women take over the operation. Was expecting alot more from this film, feels very flimsy and lacks any tension or grit. Many gangster/crime films rise to lofty heights, alas this film flops and will be forgotten very quickly. 5/10

continuing the CANNON film fun ,comes the follow up to "enter the ninja" REVENGE OF THE NINJA Golan Globus smashed it out of the park with this one. A Japanese ninja flees to the u.s.a to build a new life. Great one liners/ ninja moves/drug barron's/ kid fighters, all are throws into a blender and a 80's master piece is spat out. awesome fun
