Select Upcoming Series Info

Generally, a rookie card is the first card featured in a mass market product as part of a base set and or insert.

Say if a release had 200 cards + Inserts and if the player was featured in the base set then that would be considered their true rookie card.

If they didnt appear in the base set and then had an insert card (Draft Signature) etc.....that could be considered their rookie card.

For sports like NBA these days it hard as players could have 40 different rookie cards per year, but for AFL/NRL I would say the following:

Base card (if none) then an insert (Rookie Draft Signature) if none, then an Standard Insert.

How about a player's Rookie Card (see Rayner card on the top of page 6) being their rookie card

Dom barry has a rookie card in this release, but clearly he is not a rookie as he used to pkay for Melbourne and has a future force card

Yes so I guess it’s his port rookie card, not that it matters it’s just the name of a card as each player drafted last year will get 1 anyway

I am getting the impression that Draft Pick Signatures will be 1:72 packs and the other one of 1:72 packs will be based on the Certified design depicting players whom have never signed that SCS concept before.

GWS Draft Pick would probably have to be Zac Landon or Sam Day as Aiden Boner has played only one game so far this season if spite of being the highest number pick for the Giants

I think your right 1 sig per box still 6 of each to a case, I like it

I reckon Select have done a ripping job with the way they are dropping previews.

Also great to not see everything on eBay already.

Agreed, enjoyed the way they've done it this year. Slowly building the excitement for the release in a week and a half.

I am a little bias as I've always been a big fan of the DPS...but I think they look great. Now just a matter of playing signing in the right spot with an appropriate pen / marker.

Assuming will be the first pick for each team. Hoping the player line up for the certified signatures is good also. As Tigers fan very much hoping for a Shane Edwards

With return of DPS does this mean the end of future force? If so, I'm not too concerned as the last couple of releases have been uninspiring

I'm now excited by the release...bring on next sneak peek

Try searching for Select Footy Cards - their profile picture is an image of the front of a 2018 Footy Stars packet

They are updating their page each week with previews of the upcoming Legacy series....which our members here are then copying and pasting. I guess not everyone is a fan of social media platforms so thanks to those of you who have shared pics here.
