Well after six consecutive perfect rounds, the Hawks loss last night has knocked out @blocka2004. In the extremely unlikely event that Brisbane beat Melbourne then @Beamsy17 will be the sole champion, otherwise it'll be down to four next week for the final home-and-away round.

OK, so four make it through to the finals! I have updated the spreadsheet and removed the non-finals teams.

Nobody has a whole heap of teams left to pick from: @Beamsy17 is best placed with three (and all three finished in the top-four, too). @Ardog, you only have one team left (GWS) so I've gone ahead and locked that in for you. Going to be an interesting finish to the competition!

Alright here's how things stand:

@Ardog has been knocked out after being forced to pick GWS last week. Nonetheless a fine effort to make it this far.

@atributetopants correctly selected West Coast but only has Adelaide left, who aren't playing this week.

@Beamsy17 picked Adelaide successfully and now has a choice of two teams this week.

@J_star82 also picked a winner (Sydney) but must pick GWS this week.

Now to clarify something - if you get knocked out due to not having a team left to select, you will be ranked below someone who is knocked out due to picking a losing team. So unfortunately for @atributetopants, that means he can't win this competition - but thanks for playing! Which means it's all down @Beamsy17 and @J_star82, good luck to both!

It's a bit of a grey area and I probably should've clarified earlier, but it does say in the first post that "If you don't have a team available to pick in one of the weeks of the finals, you are out."

So at this stage that's what I'm going by, unless I can be convinced the other way.

No confidence in either of my two teams this week but i'll go the Giants this week as well.

It's time to crown the champion! Both @J_star82 and @Beamsy17 picked the Giants who won, but Beamsy still had Geelong left to pick while J_star is out of teams. As the Cats won their game against the Swans, Beamsy would still be alive and so he is the winner! Congratulations mate, your name will be put on the honour board.

Thanks to everyone who had a go this season in any of the competitions. I hope you had some fun, and I look forward to doing it all again next season
