D&A slashed their prices again last week so I weakened again.

Pack 1 - Matt Ryan, Totally Red Materials 245/299



Pack 2 - Earl Campbell & Walter Payton, Stitches In Time 23/25

Check the patches, they look painted on ?

Pack 3 - Antonio Gates, Totally Red Materials 280/299



Pack 4 - Margus Hunt (Bengals), Totally Red Freshman Phenoms Signature 7/99



Pack 5 - Marcus Lattimore (49ers), Freshman Fabric Totally Red Signature (Redemption)



So nothing flash in this box I thought.........but another one of these comes out.

Pack 6 - Michael Vick, Thanksgiving Day Totally Green Signature 2/5




By the way, only got one base, one Thanksgiving Day and 2 Rookies that I didn't already have, so not a whole lot of value outside the Vick. I can't really justify buying any more boxes now.

But we'll see.

That Vick is sweet!

The Campbell and Payton patches will look printed because they are (at least hopefully they are!) from old school jerseys where sewn on patches were not used.

I've never seen this type of thing before. Granted, I've haven't seen too many of these older material cards, but they always seemed to be regular fabric?

I think the fabric is pretty much the same but rather than the patches, numbers etc be sewn on like they are these days, I think they used to be screenpainted.

Yep, that's correct, and the color used to come through the holes onto the inside...I have a few from back then like that... Cheaper replica ones these days are similar...

I haven't had any bites around here yet so pretty close to sending it to ebay, I'm definitely open to offers.

Might be better holding off from the bay till the season starts as I don't seeing it going for top $$ this time of year. Totally just my opinion though

Not really looking to move anything from this set (apart from the Vick sig), trying to get as much as I can from boxes and cheap ebay auctions.
