Can’t believe how quickly the Traders died off this year. Very disappointing to say the least

I’m getting peeved off. Bought packets from 3 boxes at my local newsagent and they all had Fermor, Funa, Kolomatangi Rising Stars.

The most common “hit” you get from a box are the Retirements and they are 1 in 2 boxes.

All I’ve seen is that they’ve been trading for somewhere between $250-$300

A lot of collectors are younger children and adults who don’t even know this page exists

To be fair, the vast majority of collectors don’t use this website.

I’d have to say this year’s traders have been the worst ever produced by TLA. The amount of starters they got rid of, falling short of the demand and running out of Traders stock, the multiple duplicates of cards, signature smudges and scratches and the terrible redemption criteria for...

Just thought, we could have a race in Bathurst and title it the Bathurst 1000!

Makes sense I suppose, are there any other type of sets they’re restricted from producing?

Surprised neither the Traders or Elite have done an Immortals or Hall of Fame set yet.

It’s wishful thinking, but with TLA in charge there’s really no chance of salvaging the Traders. Our only hope would be for there to be a change of leadership at TLA or the set to be passed on to another company.

I’ve noticed the base cards tend to get a lot of corner damage this year. Are the cards just getting worse or is it just the design that over exaggerates it?
