    My worries, Panini Baseball license.

With the Panini release of a fake Babe Ruth autograph , yes the great Babe Ruth ! https://mobile.twitter.com/haulsofshame/status/588369636711870464 Let's hope that they don't get the License from Topps.

    Panini, same crafty practices.

For those that have not followed the saga of Panini latest fake cards, this time with the great Babe Ruth (cut autograph), this is the link: https://mobile.twitter.com/haulsofshame/status/588369636711870464 This is why I stay away from the Panini shady brand.

touché Shawn, at least you try and add some humour into my ramblings … although I do feel a United card collection minus the Futera George Best autograph card from 1997 is a bit 'cutting your nose off to spite your face' … don’t you think? Anyhow, I was being serious, a number of us have been...

    Panini, same crafty practices.

Who else has been contacted by a journalist at ESPN (USA) for an interview about Panini. They seem to be putting something together about all this fake stuff Panini released.

    2014/15 A-league cards?

For someone who has a better grip on the full checklist of these cards it may be an idea to forward the information to http://cartophilic-info-exch.blogspot.com/ Many soccer card collectors monitor new listing on this site, it could help develop a wider interest in A League collections.

    2014/15 A-league cards?

You are right about the players in most industries having some working together, that's why they have trade associations. With Trading cards unfortunately not, the biggest publisher(s) would rather no one else existed. Great lengths are gone to to obstruct consumer choice, the recent attempts to...

Does anyone on here know about old cigarette cards?

Wills cricket generally not worth a lot but some are quite rare, Wills released millions of cig cards in Australia/NZ. London Cigarette card catalogue best reference source. Murray cigarette guide good as well, though now out of print.

    Press Plate opinions

Prefer what Futera do in that they only release 1 colour plate for each card issued and then include together with other pieces such as both front and back plates, 1 colour and blank back cards etc...all as one lot in a production set.

? about game used jersey cards of retired players.

I agree, time for collectors to insist on greater rarity and more details about cards we collect.

    Panini, same crafty practices.

Yes, prices dropping. There are a lot of stickers of same names yet to be stuck on cards which will get more common. Will we see the $1 autographs (and relic cards) that came from Topps Premier gold 2013/14? Time will tell.

Futera Unique 2014- kero mate's pack

Yes, 1 display box through FCF offer. Favourite cards were the base and jersey cards, nicest hit was The Team Mates. I have bought quite a few cards on Ebay and will probably get another display box if the FCF offer repeats. It's fantastic the quality increase in Football cards we have had over...
