Feel there should have been a better spread of high end cards (no hot boxes) and also teams. No way one should get 4 cards from the same team in an 11 card box.
Unfortunately for me they were all bloody GC!
Opened one of my boxes tonight and got Sloane. Very nice looking cards. Only one Sloane with bids on ebay and if that price holds true I may come to close to covering the cost of both boxes, which I'd be happy with. Unless it gets the better of me I'm planning on leaving my other box unopened...
Missed out despite being super quick and organised on the first two releases, but got lucky on the third release. Refreshing like crazy until the add to cart appeared. Forgot I had Shop Pay enabled with Select, so good thing I had my phone with me.
Similar to @Saints man I'm buying in a hope of...
Bloody joke. Had 2 boxes in my cart, but told me they were sold out when I went to checkout. Ticketek’s website is shit, but at they at least allow you to checkout once the product is in your cart.
As you say each to their own, but for mine besides the low production number there's nothing to make dominance and influential special. $500-$1000 for an unsigned card limited to 50-60 or $300-$500 for a signature card limited to 100 (early 2000s select). I know which one I'd value more.
A quest for money is the number one driver to this craziness. Within that there's two main types; investors who corner the market by hoarding cards to sell months/years later at prices they can then set and profiteers who buy in bulk to immediately flip (often on ebay) at highly inflated prices...
My interest was already dropping due to the ridiculous prices for multiple unsigned/non-guernsey cards making it impossible to chase every Collingwood card. Now that boxes are crazy too I can't even hope to hit one of these over-valued cards or a nice signature via a box.
Edit: You just have to...
As a Collingwood collector I'm increasingly focusing more on pre-1990 cards and less on numbered non-signature cards. I just don't see the value in paying hundreds for a numbered card that isn't signed or a guernsey.
The other customer asked the sales assistant. She gave the I don’t know where we’re moving to my boss hasn’t told me answer. From that I’m guessing online, but it’s a guess.

With a for lease sign up it won’t help keep the door open, but I picked up 3 packs from card zone today. I got a Tarryn Thomas signature from the last few packets I purchased from them.
Today first pack Ziebell zebra, so I wasn’t holding great hope for the other two. Next packet Pendlebury red...
Since the early '90s I've been purchasing a few loose packets of a release and then buying the cards I want. It gives me the fun of the unknown without costing a heap and I don't have the hassle of flipping cards from other clubs to get some money back. Disappointingly the minimum number of...
It's a nice design, but top 3 Brownlow for each club seems a little arbitrary. Martin and Miller for example received just the 5 Brownlow votes and others just 6 or 7, which isn't really worthy of celebrating. I'd have preferred to have seen top 3 B&F place getters instead; at least that would...
