On Again, Off Again..
I upgraded to the 'Super Special 2-Disc Classy Edition' of Anchorman. It comes with a second disc, obviously, full of new deleted scenes and really funny rehearsals with the main guys and also some silly interviews with Ron Burgundy. Got it in JB HiFi for $12.
Gone crazy on the dvds lately (ive seriously run out of room to store them now, dont know how many dvds in total i have, gotta be pushing 400). in the last few weeks ive picked up:
Simpsons seasons 1-6
South park seasons 1-6
las vegas seasons 1 & 2
Tintin 75th anniversary complete collection (damn, forgot how fun this show was, used to watch all the time when i was a kid)
Veronica Mars seasons 1 & 2
Youth of the Beast (crazy tripped out 60s japanese gangster flick)

Not so much what I have bought but what I have been watching... I just watched an entire season of xena in the last 24 hours and I do love that show oh so much... it never took it self too seriously... and was just fun! Especially the older seasons!

also completed my OC collection by picking up Sesons 3 and 4 a couple weeks back making it my first completed tv show series! I will though have a 2nd completed set soon as i am going to buy all 3 seasons of Arrested Developement.

- death proof - I enjoyed this, not the greatest of Tarrrantino movies, but I really enjoyed it.. 4/5
- Terror Planet - See 28 weeks later
- TMNT - Original episodes plus 4 never seen episodes - DVD edition, havent watched it yet, but got it for $10 always wanted to re-ive the past
- Hostel 2 - Not a bad movie, I liked it.. until one certain part of it that involves dogs was shown.. scared for life 3.8/5
- Vacancy - Purchased a while back but not a bad movie, not the greatest either, a horror flick.. 3/5
- Zodiac - I couldnt turn it off, pretty good movie.. wont comment too much but was pretty good 4.5/5
- Fracture - Clever movie, though kind of lost me a bit, enjoyable when your in the mood - 4/5
- Family Guy Vol. 5 - 20/5 love this show..
- Behind The Mask Of Leslie Vernon - Yet to watch it, anyone seen it? Meant to be good, but then again so was dead silence (dont go near it.. dont fall for the "directed by the saw guys"

How graphic was the baby being born scene.. talk about detailed.. how much goo came out and was shown.. ouch and eww
picked up:
Frontline collection (series 1-3): so friggin brilliant, i picked it up on a whim, as i remember watching it when i was younger and thought it was ok. they nail current affairs TV so dead on it is scary. one of the landmark comedies from any country, and so ahead of its time. 10/10.
28 weeks later: really really good, and quite frankly, bloody scary in some parts. different style of movie from the first one, this is just action packed 90% of the time. kinda like aliens compared to the original alien. different but equally great 8.5/10
The Shield series one: very good cop drama, a bit cliched in some parts but overall solid. the main character vick mackey is like tony soprano but hes a cop! cant go wrong for $18 as well. bargain! 8/10
seinfeld series 9: I finally have every episode of probably the best sitcom ever made on dvd. final season is a bit up and down in quality of the stories, but still watchable over and over. 9/10
carlito's way: great de palma film, it tries to be scarface but cannot compete. still has some great scenes and characters though. 8/10
billy madison & happy gilmore double pack: it was $15 ok. shut up.
entourage season 3 part 2: ****ing cheapskates cant even release a season as a whole. soulless corporate suit: "hey lets split the season in 2 parts and then still charge full price for only half a season. this way we make double the money!"
