Dunno if Optus rights have killed interest or if it's just people don't bother talking about the EPL on here anymore. Been a busy transfer period with some deals still in the mix.
Should make for an interesting season ahead.
Just putting it out there...how do you think your team will go?
Personally, I can't see United taking the league nor doing anything groundbreaking in the CL but still hope we will do ok. Will be watching regardless as I am hopeful but not obsessed with winning things.

United should do alright. Signing Matic will allow Pogba to get forward more and support Lukaku. Not too sure about their defence though.

In the Premier League I have always supported Chelsea, but since Huddersfield Town have been promoted I will be supporting them more so.
Hopefully they can avoid relegation after signing some decent players. Chelsea on the other hand haven't strengthened their squad as much, so we are in for a close title race, but I'll still tip them to win.

Predictions -
1. Chelsea
2. City
3. Spurs
4. United
5. Liverpool
6. Arsenal

17. Huddersfield :)

Love the premier league to bit, but given it's not on Foxtel, my desire to watch every game, talk back shows is gone. Miss match of the day and soccer am back in England.
But given I'm a Fulham fan get watch them live still on fox :)

I think it will be a good season. I always like seeing how the promoted teams go. I feel that @brownlegend is probably about right on the ladder standings too. 3 to 6 may vary. IF LFC can hang on to Coutinho and with what they picked up I think they can be top 3. They have some real quality in their squad. Dunno why they keep Sturridge though...he's a git. But hopefully for their sake he can do something positive for them to repay the faith. I'd like to see City break £300 mill and finish 4th or 5th but that's just me and my dislike for them haha.
I hope Rooney does well at Everton, I think he still has a lot to offer. Spurs I think will drop a bit. I think the Gunners need to let Ozil and Sanchez go but I would have kept Giroud so what do I know haha.

It's a fickle thing is the old premier league, Rich well.. get richer and poor fight for the scraps. City.... bunch of muppets! Your right, spurs had a good window to pinch a title when everyone was everywhere and inconsistent in the league. But I guess that's what you get when the Berlin Wall was still standing when you last won a title :whistle:

It's what I enjoyed about Leicester winning that title. It was a flash in the pan and didn't end well afterwards but they made history. It's what makes the EPL such a good league IMO.
It's more or less a 2 horse race in all the other top leagues. I think if Neymar goes to PSG he is wasting a legacy and might become the next Ronaldinho...wasted talent by getting greedy.
But that's football these days. 1 club men are a thing of the past, it's more of a business than a sport now days which is a necessary evil i suppose but I am just showing my age haha.
Does anyone have the Optus dish? Allegedly there is one. I don't want to change everything over to them just to stream "ok" quality football.
I know a handful of people who have optus on stream and say it's not that great.

Optus killed the buzz, that's my view. I loved being able to watch premier league games on Foxtel and recording those I couldn't watch, Slats and Boz were good value. I just can't settle in and enjoying watching a streamed match on Optus, just doesn't feel right.

Chelski should go back to back, I guess Pep will be trying hard after spending so much money. @shawnkemp40 Your mob have spent well, you'll be up in the ladder for sure. As for Arsenal, sell Ozil & Sanchez and keep Giroud, surely that would be a mid table move?
Hopefully Coutinho stays, we all know when Barca comes knocking you make the move. Especially if that money hungry show pony goes to poo sg they'll have money to burn. My man Sturridge, lads quality when he's not injured or cbf playing or when it's not too cold or hot or raining or too much running involved lol. He can still play a big part for us and it was only a few seasons ago he had that great partnership with Suarez. He's due for a great injury free season. As for new signings I'm happy with what he have acquired so far, I know we will never be able to compete with the big boys as our owners are a bunch of conjus pricks . Hope everything has been well with you bro?

All good bro, nah I think the Pool will be ok. They're playing quality football pre season. The Coutinho issue is the thing IMO. They have enough even if they lose him but he is a huge loss none the less. Hopefully Barcá go for someone else.

Don't really care where I watch it, as long as I can watch it, which seems to be a bit of a stretch these days.
Neymar to PSG for ungodly amounts of cash, remains to see if they are willing to throw that same cash at Liverpool for Coutinho, I sure hope not.
We really need a couple of decent signings in the rear, Van Dijk would be awesome but I am sick of the rumours saying he is coming or not.
Bring on the new season, I can't wait.

Well it showed we have a long way still to go!
Score made it look closer than it really was. Still, we showed up for the second half which was probably just as well. Dave saves!!

Sweet, will be watching with interest.
Will have to stream our match tomorrow night.

Phwoaaa.... Watford v LFC what a match. LFC still have huge defensive issues. Great match to watch none the less

What a headache, I had a feeling we would concede once I saw there was 5 mins extra time. Shouldn't have taken off TAA too, I'm impressed by his performance.

Ah well Champion League playoff this Wednesday morning 4.45am @OutlawNinja hopefully we don't bring our defensive woes with us.
