Got a few goodies in over the past few weeks which I thought I'd share with you guys :D

First up were these two nice sealed WSC minibats - first is 1984/85, second is 1992/93:

Which now gives me 7 unopened ones from different years:

I managed to dig up a top flap from the 1982 Scanlens cricket sticker box:

Idea was it was torn off and stuck in the back of the box as a kind of header/signage in the box.....here is a pic of it with my unopened 1983 sticker box and a 1983 and a 1984 box flat:

I also picked up 34 unopened packs of 1989/90 Scanlens cards:

And finally, after many years of searching, I found a sealed box of 1989/90 Scanlens (contains 60 packs):

Which goes with my sealed box of 1988/89, sealed box of 1990/91, full box of 1986/87 and unused box flat, sealed 3-pack and loose sealed packs of 1980/81:

Brad your maildays are always amazing to see :DThis one again is brilliant, well done. Great to see all those unopened packs/ boxes.

I love the bats too, I was not aware there were bats like that out there.
Happy Christmas to you and the family
Alex

We 'tink it 'mazzzzing. Hate to be the person who dusts your collectin. Merry Christmas. Ron

Well done Brad, Merry Christmas mate. Epic Scanlens collection there.

If you selling any of those unopened packets shoot me a PM!

Great scored on a sealed unopened box.

Great mailday again Brad :p

I have been to 3 One-Dayers in Adelaide and the mini-bats were the first thing I bought.

The Scanlens pictures reminded me instantly of one thing - that pink piece of bubblegum that you could amost cut a steak with! I can still remember carefully dusting the gum remains off the top card in each pack.

Merry Christmas to you too mate, thanks for all of your help this year.

Your maildays are always prolific so I can only imagine what your "large mailday" is in the New Year.....you haven't bought out Select or Wangy have you? :p

Merry xmas to you and the kids too Alex. The bats were a really vivid memory from going to Adelaide Oval as a kid - I they made them from around 1979 to about 1994. they are a heavy sort of plastic resin-type material.....quite weird really, but they were a great memento from that summer - particularly when Test squads hardly changed for the entire summer.

ha ha fortunately most of the collection is behind glass or stored away so it hardly needs any dusting. I'd love to buy more cabinets to display more but haven't done that as yet. Hope your health is better Ron and merry xmas.

Thanks Owen, I bought the packs before getting the sealed box so there may be some pack selling going on! Will let you know when I do.

nice pick ups mate, love the bats

Bats are rippers....I was going to collect the loose set and then I found a sealed one and thought I'd make it harder for myself but far more rewarding when I found a new addition.

Great mailday again Brad :p

Matty I reckon whatever flavour there was in that gum disappeared about .3 of a second after it went in your mouth.....that stuff was damn hard work!

No mate Wang is still the ruler of the card universe, I am just taking waaaaay too long to pay off a purchase that started over 12 months ago and is still not close to being finalised! need an ebay vacation I think until it is sorted.

Sickness Brad absolutely love your maildays mate.

Thanks Jack, they maildays are few and far between these days unfortunately.....but this next one will be one of my finest, I guarantee it!!

Amazing stuff Brad. I actually got a sneak preview of these as I stumbled upon your photobucket through google the other day. Absolutely brilliant mate!
