2014/2015 Tap 'N' Play Cricket Sell Sheet (Full Checklist on Page 2)

The silver and gold cards are exactly the same as the base cards, except the trim/border will be in silver or gold.

Refer the sell sheet with the frosted edging.

Oh dear :( When Matt26 said they were the same image across the range, I had hoped for a bit more than just a different coloured frosted edging. Makes you wonder why a gold card would justify a 1:4 ratio in packs.

Hi Everyone,

Here is an OzCardTrader.com.au exclusive, the full 2014/15 CA & BBL Checklist from Tap 'N' Play.

Excellent exclusive Matt26 :) :)

I have update the earlier document that I loaded with this new information if people prefer a more visual look as it relates to the teams in the set.

The interesting thing is that the base card order doesn't align with the Strike/Super Star order as the Base set goes ODI, SS, T20, Test.... Whereas the Strike/Super Stars order is Test, ODI, T20, SS.... So that throws it out a bit when looking at the checklist in terms of teams.

The other interesting card is #124 Sohail Tanvir, the Pakistan player. I didn't think he was playing this season, and I haven't seen him listed for either Melbourne Renegades or Melbourne Stars. I have aligned him with Melbourne Renegades to make that team equal to 15 cards, which is the number of cards for all T20 sides (except Adelaide with 14).

Anyway, hope the attached might be helpful.

Great work again Matt26 in getting this information for us.

No problems at all, just wanted to make sure the members here get the right information.

In relation to Sohail Tanveer I believe the base cards were done first and done some time ago for CA sign off. I think another player (Beer) may have changed teams since but you can only get to a certain point and draw the line before production needs to start.

Another thing I have heard is the Gold Parallels whilst being 1 in 4 Packs, given the size of the set 184 cards I think these will be a lot more limited than people might imagine. 6 per box makes them a pretty big chase if you are going for the set.

Cheers
Matt

Yes the Beer / Muirhead swap between Scorchers & Melb Stars was done in late November, so that would have been to late for any change. I would imagine pulling all the Phil Hughes cards would have been a logistical headache as it was.

The gold cards will be a challenge as you say, but if you are willing to buy 31 boxes then 'in theory' you should get them all, with 6 in a box :). But that's a big gamble.

But the silvers on a 1:2 ratio should be easier.

The large number of strike/superstars cards at only 1 per box will probably be more of the focus. Still if you buy 31 boxes you would be well on the way with those cards as well :)

Matt, do we know if they are doing replacement cards for the missing Phillip Hughes cards in the set?

I know when errors have occurred in previous cricket and NRL sets the manufacturer usually issues replacements via the website or phone line.

Sets will look strange missing a couple of cards.

The common Strikers card was replaced with another player.

Image from today's TnP Facebook posting....Santa seen handing out these at ANZ stadium today.

I was at the game last night & saw Santa - however did not see him handing out the cards where I was.

I did however get a Thunder showbag for my son & that had 2 of the cards in it. He was given Aiden Blizzard & Daniel Hughes in his bag. I am not sure if all the standard Thunder cards were given away, however I did see Eoin Morgan sign one, so with the Dirk Nannes pictured here that is at least 4 different ones out there.

The cards look great in hand with a glossy finish on them. & look great signed. I will post scans ASAP.

Hopefully they hit the shelves this week. I have missed out on the Heat now, soooo disapointing I didnt have them as Andrew Flintoff & Daniel Vettori were there & they signed some other cards for me. Would have loved to have added these Tap & Play cards.....

Santa must be a Thunder fan :) Was a (christmas) cracker of a game. Will love to see the other cards you got once scanned.

Agree the timing of the release is unfortunate, all the BBL games at the WACA...sorry Furnace (good grief!) will be over before the cards are out according to the scheduled release date, unless the Scorchers make the semis of course :). So no chance to get any of the BBL cards getting signed.

I had thought that TnP were going to do some pre-ordering, but nothing on their website, so I guess we'll have to cross fingers and hope they hit shops soon.

Forgot to ask...do the numbers on the Blizzard & Hughes cards match their numbers on the checklist...173 Blizzard and 175 Hughes?
