If it was me in this situation and had to choose I’d send the error in and get the correct printed card. That’s just me though. Has anyone asked Select if possible to hole punch them? If enough people ask it might get them thinking. Would be a shame to destroy them when they could just act as a redemption card.

Been asking. Got a pretty firm no. Had a go at trying to see if there might be options around this, but the guy on the email was a complete w**ker about it. Have to say the customer service from Select I have experienced is appalling (and not just saying that because I didn't get what I wanted)

Agree it makes for a nice redemption card. Bu no chance it happens from my experience

Did anyone notice some not as good selections for the dual sigs? For example the Carlton one could have been SOS and Jack and the doggies one could have been Smith and Johnston (much better selections IMO).

Could this be because of some sort of signing from Smith or the salvagni’s in supremacy 2?

It was never going to be SOS and Jack due to that being a better option for Next Gen.

My 2 cents.
The only knock is the scratched signatures.
Apart from the scratches on the sigs, the signature cards look very classy with the faded look. I like how they have done different versions of both signature and rookie cards, the rookie cards #115 will be more sought after in years ahead.

I love that the boxes are getting into the hands of more collectors, but as a result has anyone else noticed how the price has really plummeted on some individual cards? We all know Freo, GWS and Suns cards don't hold the same value as other teams, but I virtually gave away an 07/85 gold draft pick signature card of a GWS player recently. I know we cant have our cake and eat it too, but just hope in another 1-2 months that the prices will slightly rise and be steady as a result of all the low numbering. Time will tell.

Right now, you'd struggle to make money back on a retail priced box. I reckon 200 for the box I got (hitless ones)

What was in your box? I am struggling to see how you could possibly get a box with only 200 value. Do you have pics of all hits?

I went back and looked at the box you posted and you are extremely pessimistic if you think you wouldn’t make 200 back.

Based on recent eBay sale prices:

Brockman gold - 90-100
De Goey headliner - 80-100
Bowey copper - 60 (premiership player now!)

Even if you sold the specialist and parallels for 15 each, and sold those other cards at the lowest end of what I’ve quoted, you’d already be looking at 275. Plus you have 12 optimum+ cards too.

I get that you were disappointed you didn’t get a huge hit, and many of us opened similar boxes, but everyone who paid RRP for these boxes basically couldn’t lose. IMO this product equals Supremacy and brilliance in that even the ‘worst’ boxes/cards will get you your money back.

I think Optimum is the worst boxes of the bunch, and glad I have a bunch sitting here sealed for a rainy day.

I haven't had much luck with the Tigers in this release. Must have used it all up on prestige.
