Found out this morning that Will Smith, former New Orleans defensive end and 1 time Pro Bowl selection, was shot dead by a former top high school football prospect in NOLA.
Very sad to hear. This man was a defensive beast in his prime, and though his accolades don't show it, could match up with anyone in the NFL with success.
I hope his killer gets prison for a long time for killing Will (in front of his wife, mind you) and for shooting his wife twice in the legs.
