For anxious football collectors, the arrival of the 2017 NFL Draft late next month in Philadelphia can mean only one thing: The 2017 NFL collecting season is so close we can taste it. And once again this season, it will begin in grand fashion with the release of Panini America’s 2017 Score Football on April 26, just one day before the 2017 NFL Draft gets underway.

2017 Score Football’s hobby configuration will deliver a truly jumbo experience that includes 40 cards per pack and 10 packs per every hobby box. On average, each hobby box will deliver four autographs. The product will remain true to its proud roots by delivering a massive checklist that includes 330 veterans and 110 Rookie Cards (the first licensed NFL Rookie Cards of the season) and a plethora of compelling inserts from base to autographs to memorabilia.

The highlights of 2017 Score Football are many and include . . .

  • An average of right Rookie Cards per hobby jumbo pack, on average.
  • Pull five sequentially numbered parallels and 36 insert cards per hobby jumbo box, on average.
  • Rare multi-signed cards in Draft Dual Signatures.
  • Several new inserts including Color Rush, Drive Team and Fantasy Stars.
  • Rare veteran and retired signatures numbered to 25 or less.

We’ll have much more to preview on 2017 Score Football in the coming weeks here on The Knight’s Lance. But for now, enjoy this extended sneak peek (keeping in mind that the 2016 rookies featured in the preview gallery below are merely to show collectors what Score’s various rookie designs will look like):
