Gotta love the fact baseball season has swung around once more!

So how did your team go? My LA Dodgers got off to a ripping start against rivals San Francisco. I really love the way the team is shaping up this year! Jones was a great acquisition and we have a really DEEP batting lineup now which I am really optimistic about.

The more notable results were Detroit being beaten in extra innings at home by lowly Kansas and Eric Gange blowing a three-run lead in the bottom of the ninth, but the Cubs choked again despite Fukodome's homer whilst the Yankees opening day was postponed due to rain. The Braves are also 0-2 now after going down in extra innings to Pittsburgh in their home opener.

padres got off to a good start with a 4-0 win, with Jake Peavy getting 2 RBIs!

Yanks win 3-2.

Good pitching by Wang. Joba and Mariano closed it out. We got a great pitching line up. Even if we don't win it this year, its a great platform for the future.

Do you know if there is any Padres games that will be shown?

i believe fox 3 is showing a Pads game on Friday at 5pm AEST - not sure if Huber will play though
