Movie you can't stop watching?

Sounds like you're into your japanese anime. One of my favourite anime stylistically is Blood+ .It's only like 40 minutes, ends really abruptly, and makes you wish and wish that the script was much longer and detailed but I love it and recommend it. There is a spin off series of it which is not bad. But if you're after an anime series with plenty of great twists, which is very well thought out, and has awesome animation, you have to watch DeathNote (the anime series not the movies). It's definitely way on top of my list on japanese anime.

Been a while since i watched any series, last one was Neon Genesis. Ive read about Blood & Deathnote along with a few other Hellsing, Bleach.

Been busy building my Horror Movie collection before i move on Sci Fi, Manga etc (ahh memories, Street Fighter 2 the movie, loved the intro)

Has there been a sequal too Appleseed, watched that on Foxtel.

blood was really cool and i quite enjoyed it, of course it was too short though, its more like a really good episode from a tv series. the animation was superb in some parts. i read about it, it was created as sort of a class project by some animation students, who had a very small budget to work with, and thats probably why its so short.

ive heard about deathnote, its got a bit of hype and supposed to be very good. the concept sounds intrigiung, but ive learned my lesson to stay clear of most any anime that gets hyped these days...naruto, bleach, one piece etc etc complete garbage.

its nice to get surprised sometimes though, i just recently finished watching the complete 51 ep Fullmetal Alchemist series and was really blown away, it was bloody good. it ends on an odd note, though ive heard the movie that was released later ties up the story a bit better.

If anyone is after some awesome Japanese Anime, check this list, you cant go wrong with any of these titles: TV Series: Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex & 2nd Gig, Last Exile, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Rurouni Kenshin, Paranoia Agent, Neon Genesis Evangelion, the Twelve Kingdoms, Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Kino's Journey, Great Teacher Onizuka. Movies/OVA's: The Animatrix, any Miyazake film, any Satoshi Kon film, Akira, Battle Angel Alita, Memories, Patlabor 1-3, Metropolis, Jin Roh; the Wolf Brigade, samurai x, wings of honneamise, ninja scroll, ghost in the shell 1 & 2.

^Nice list you have there, haven't seen Battle Angel Alita for years; what a movie!
Some of my favourites there but I must add Trigun to the TV Series along with Fist of the North Star, while Metropolis is a great anime film.

trigun was ok, didnt blow me away though. FOTNS though??? it was kinda cool when i was 10 but seriously i tried to watch it again a year or 2 back and i had to switch it off after about 45 minutes, its really aged horribly and i was amazed how repetitive it is...dude walks around, meets people, fights bad guys and explodes their heads, thats about it.

JZA my man! Fullmetal Alchemist is awesome, definitely one of my favourites and I've already seen the movie, and it does tie it up a bit better with the connection between Alphonse and Edward but I won't spoil it.

There is a spin-off from Blood+ which goes for 50 episodes, and while the storyline isn't bad, my favourite part of the movie was the style which unfortunately doesn't get carried on into the series. The series is a bit of a parallel world to Saya and a bit more in depth look to her origins.

I'm telling you man, Deathnote is for real, the best anime series I've seen. I couldn't stop watching it at all, I had to keep watching the next one and the next one. Forget what you've read and just watch it, the storyline is seriously superb and complex but not overly complicated.

I still like Naruto, and follow the anime and the comic...I don't know which episode you've watched up to, but the Shippudden episodes are definitely better to watch and follows up several years later to when the series stopped and a lot of them have new and improved skills, like Sakura. The problem sometimes with Naruto is that there's too many filler episodes and too much repetition, but if you can overlook that, its pretty enjoyable.

I got a few, these would probably round out my top 10 most watched;

Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Se7en, Taxi Driver, The Departed, GoodFellas, True Romance, Natural Born Killers, He Got Game, 25th hour...

Can watch these over and over again. Something about these filmmakers putting out stuff I never get tired of.

Bad Santa, Kingpin, CB4, Death to Smoochy and Groundhog Day are my comedies.

As far as Foxtel repeats go I always sit through Children of Men without a problem.

I haven't had the chance to sit and watch something again for a while.....usually it's something I haven't seen b4. Dumb and Dumber is always a keeper but the movie I used to watch over and over was BASEketball......that is a cracker. There was a time many years ago when me and my mates watched it every day for about a month or 2.

"I swear if you guys rip on me 13 or 14 more times, I'm outta here"
