Hottest Players to be collecting club by club ?

Hi All,

Working on player profile trading card pages of the website and looking to establish which pages to build out first. Below I have a list of club by club that I want to establish the first player to build a page for. This is the player that would have the most interest around the cards that they have had produced for them or the player that the most people would love to have the card of when a release comes out. I have listed some that I would think are number 1 and looking for input from collectors on Ozcardtrader. Can be past or present players. Interesting exercise !!

For the Hawks I'd say O'Meara with Worpel coming a very close second.

In saying O'Meara, I personally would rather chase Worpel. But the feeling is O'Meara cards pull good money as there are non Hawks supporters that still seem to chase his cards.

For the Saints, they keep making questionable choices for high end cards (Geary, Ross etc).

Was Riewoldt. Will probably be Max King

Gws - an even spread but kelly is popular. Shaws go for alot on certain cards and not as much on others.

Gc - ablett but of the current players it has to be rowell. King and rankine also.

Richmond - do i need to answer

Hawks - yes as mentioned certain non hawks collect omeara and he is about equal with worpel. But may i please put it out there that that certain collector you are refering to was actually collecting omeara 5 years before he became a hawk and has a pc of gws and gc who he also does not support.

Collecting does not automatically mean you have to collect the team you barrack for or collect a player from your team. It could be a player you know, a team who you have associations with or just a personal choice as you wanted to collect from the begining. Hell there could be no reason you went down that path and thats fine also.

Ultimately a collector is a collector and as long as they are passionate about that collection and are not in it to flip or manipulate the market then good on them!

Ps that collector also talks in the third person from what i have heard

Hehehe in section thoughts I could have left the diamond and black rankings blank for GWS like I did for Freo and Goldy - I really couldn't think of one for the Dockers more significant than Fyfe let alone one for the suns more significant than Ablett LoL! Yes I was a bit bias there about Greene and admit I am over optimistic about the league icon status but I'll now leave it up to others to fill in the gaps I left if you're really inclined!!!

Freo you need to add Pavlich. Taking nothing away from the talent of Fyfe.Pav in my eyes is freo's best player ever.... loyal and talented.
