Best way to value cards ?

Hi All

After a long break i'm back collecting. What is the best way to value a card?
I used to just by a Beckett mag and i think half the listed price was Aus $.
Is EBay or other websites any use?

Most people would use either of these

http://sortsof.com/

They will allow you to search sold ebay prices pretty quickly and are both free sites.

https://www.worthpoint.com/ is a paid subscription site and again searches ebay sold listings but gives a longer sold history through time.
