Cheers mate... it is just my little outlet from life when I'm not at work or busy with work (which is teaching).

Yeah, Zion is like a monster. Hopefully he stays injury free and dominates for years to come. Freak of a talent. Shame we have been robbed of a full rookie season with him.

Yeah, I've remade every VFL/AFL base set template back to 1963 (Scanlens, Stimorol, Regina, and Select)

Here is Clayton Oliver (I am a Melbourne fan) on every Select base set from 1993-2019:

They are fantastic looking commons not sure why select went away from this style I haven’t liked a common design for years

Yeah, I guess they just like changing templates because it is a 'fresh' product to flog off to the consumer.

I do prefer the simple templates though... all the modern ones with the smoke effects, gradients, etc. are just overkill. Plus they're a pain in the arse for people like me to try and replicate. Haha

Great work mate. That looks great. It’s been said before but Select really need to do a retro set exactly like this but with modern players. And number the gold cards.
 
Oh, and here is the template for the Signature cards. Pretty much the same as the Gold cards except the name isn't foiled over.

I also made a template for the back of the cards. Can't be bothered tinkering with it now, but made a Modra card with the template back when I first made it:
