The 1996 Marvel Masterpieces set is one of the most desirable Marvel sets released in the 1980’s and 1990’s because of the spectacular artwork (by Julie Bell & Boris Vallejo) and the limited amount of the product available. Three separate items are offered.
(1) Complete set including cards 1-100, Gallery cards 1-6, Double Impact cards 1-6, a display box (empty) and a packet (empty). An original artwork redemption card is NOT included. All cards are from packet to sleeve and are near mint. The display box is deconstructed for shipping (see photo) but can easily be reassembled. The box is in good condition but does have minor denting and creasing near folds as per photo. The total price for the above of $975.00 includes shipping by Express Post with receipted delivery for the cards, and separate shipping in an oversized envelope with cardboard ‘stiffening’ for the box.
(2) To start your own set the following 70 common cards (of 100) are offered at a price of $300.00 including shipping by Express Post with receipted delivery; an empty packet is also included. Again all are sleeve from the packet and are NM. Cards offered are: 2, 5, 6, 7, 10, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38, 39, 41, 43, 46, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 61, 62, 63, 65, 66, 68, 69, 71, 72, 74, 75, 76, 77, 80, 81, 83, 84, 86, 88, 89, 90, 91, 93, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100.
