I like the silver and gold, except a lot are miscut. They remind me of ud collectors choice from the mid 90's. Also there are a lot of cards with minor dings, but overall, pretty good.

Im not complaining though, as I only really wanted 3 cards, in order of priorty, Perry, Starc and Smith Signatures. Just glad I didn't get a case with two James Faulkners.

Now I'm left with a dilemma. I have 8 boxes that probably only have 1 medal winner in them. I'm not scummy enough to put them on ebay, and try to con someone with a chance of a sig. I think i'll check how close to the gold and silver sets I am first, but I may sell them at discounted prices.

What do you think of the medal winner cards mate? When i pulled mine i couldn't believe it was a 1:182 pack card, so underwhelming.

Very underwhelming and need serial numbering. All the inserts could do with some foil to jazz them up a bit.

The collation in this set is a joke.

There are 12 different Superstars & 12 different Young Stars. In a case of 14 boxes you should expect to get 7 DIFFERENT young stars & 7 DIFFERENT Superstars. In Case one you got one extra Superstar & one extra young star, however only 6 different cards in total - 3 young stars & 3 superstars - from 14 boxes. One young star you had 4 of the same!

Looking at breaks from case 2 - you already have the same young star three times in first three boxes. I thought they had fixed the duplications?

I know you said you are happy with two sig redemptions the same, however most people would be really annoyed at getting a case where the two major hits are the same ones even though there are six different ones on offer.

I dont know why its that hard to get it right....

Im only happy, because they were my main target cards, and im not a master set collector. If I was, id probably be fuming. It isn't good enough though.

Despite the duplication of inserts (big issue) at least the big hits are consistent at 2 each per case

OK, everything is sorted now. Very impressed on the golds. In 2 cases I got only 1 double, and only need 14 for the set. here are the stats

Golds 166/180
silvers- 1 complete set and 15 short of a second
2 complete Best of the Bash sets
2 complete Memorable moments sets
superstars 6/12 with heaps of doubles
young stars 5/12 with heaps of doubles

happy to trade to complete some sets. I've started a sell thread for the complete sets to try and get back a bit of the cost.
