Mate, I've got no dramas with 1/1's. I love the chase of short printed cards, unlike most of these nrl team collectors. I hate ESP for their gouging and non-transparent trading practices, and the fact that their releases have gone so far backwards from their original release.

For the price they charge for a box, every one should have 2 or 3 "hits". To pay $170 for a box and not get a hit is a f&@king disgrace!!

So do you just rush in, buy high, take the gamble and end up with a plain patch and loose a few hundred dollars, or wait and take your chances on a nice one. Big risk in my opinion, and if it's for a PC, then most of us want the best one possible, so don't mind paying extra.

So much wiser than so many. Why would anyone be paying big money for a card that you don't even know what it looks like. Such a big gamble to buy one blind. Let someone else redeem, then pick the patch you want.

And who determines this value? Just because ESP increases their prices, doesn't mean the cards are more valuable. Collectors determine value, and when you put out an average release, with ugly cards, there's no way people will pay huge money for crap. Poor design, wrong pen's, poor selection of...

Im sure this product isn't designed a week before release. They could show unsigned blanks like other card companies do. Production mock ups etc., and then as soon as the cards are signed, show a finished version. There are plenty of ways to create interest and look after collectors. ESP choose...

They shouldn't guarantee anything in a promo pack. Maybe one or two random cards, just to fuel interest. If they get binned, they get binned!! We can't control what other collectors do. I have no interest in promos other than a sneak peak at what I might be out laying money for.

How is it not an asset to a seller, unless they are producing garbage releases!! Why can't they put a few promos and a flyer in magazines like we use to get. Get interest circulating about a month out. Rugby League Week maybe!!!!! Surely this advertising would boost sales.

This practice of ESP not releasing info to collectors, has just worn thin. I brought 5 cases of 2013, maybe 6 boxes of 2014, and I won't be buying any of this years now. Totally over it!! Why so f&$king secretive? And it's just total b/s to let the dealers presell individual cards on eBay before...

It's disapointing that they do not have one nrl player on their books (listed on their site anyway). Would be more opportunities to give collectors value if they did. They could add clauses in contracts to sign or supply a jersey.
