Anyone shipped to and sold from COMC?

Thanks mate, appreciate the info and advice. Interesting there is also a service fee after the 10%. Thought the would just charge you the 10% gst and be happy with that.

Anyone shipped to and sold from COMC?

Just a quick question if anyone can help. How does it work with import duties and getting cards I've bought on comc shipped to me. I haven't had any cards shipped since legislation changed and am looking to get over $1000 worth of cards shipped. Can I prepay this? I dont want it held up...

Anybody used COMC to sell big batches of low end cards?

The short answer is no, 30c (usd) to list per card and shipping costs are high from here to usa. Also 20% cash out cut for comc. I'd say you would need to sell every card for between 75c - $1 just to break even I'd say most of the cards you are talking about are already on there for under 50c each

Advice on NBA Packs and Boxes: Ask your questions here!

Personally, I don't like the cornerstones and much prefer spectra, however I do like the cornerstone quad patch autos but other than that, I find the set ugly and cheap looking

Why do you collect the player you collect?

I collect Terrance Ferguson because he played for the 36ers and my son loves following him still, and he was awesome the times we met him when he was here. I know a lot of people use the excuse of "it's for my son" in this hobby, but this PC is really about him (That's him with TFerg in my...

july 1 tax paying goods overseas for cards

It varies from 30c on bulk submissions to $1 I think. International mailbox is $3.60 first card and 60c additional I think. It's all listed on the website, but I think that's right

No tax mate, only on declared values $1000+ it seems if the business is not self declaring $75,000+

july 1 tax paying goods overseas for cards

Why would comc charge GST? We're not buying the cards from them and I doubt many of the individual sellers are doing $75,000 a year. Legally, eBay should only be doing it for big sellers, but the have decided to do it for everything. Bet the ATO are loving all the free money. Screw Morrison, he...

panini eminence - hign end has a new level

We'll, the secondary market is very soft for most players, so I dare say there will still be prices within most budgets... At the end of the day, it's still an over saturated market and fat lever will prob still be in it ;)... So who knows Don't forget the customary scandal for each high end...

    COMC Mailbox Thread

I think COMC are saying, "this is how it is, if you don't like it....Bye!" I'm ok with that.... I'm also happy they stopped trying to position themselves as the collectors best friend (listening to concerns, seeing things from collectors point of view, yadda,yadda,yadda)... COMC is no more...

    COMC Mailbox Thread

No I don't, I think a direct email would have been enough as long as they disclosed all the changes (which they didn't) I'd actually prefer they stayed off this board and blowout. Moe is useless (not his fault, he is under instruction) and instead of getting the same stuff "passed on" to never...

    COMC Mailbox Thread

Well if it's not cost effective what can you do? At least they're honest instead of making excuses trying to put it on the user for using it wrong (like last time) may be worth it now for "lots" to sell on comc @ 50c a card
