TLA Cricket Traders 2021/22

Hey Everyone,

Thought we could start a bit of discussion as the cricket season nears. It was mentioned on a Diggaz Trading Card video today that the expected release for the cricket traders will be in October this year.

Any ideas or news of what we can look forward to? Hoping for a bit of a change up to the design this year rather than taking it mostly from the NRL traders like last season.

Sell sheet is out October 1st. We will have it here on that date.

Some new concepts in the release which people who are NRL collectors may be familiar with........ and another 2 Legends to collect.

I would say the Start of November........ the set has a similar make up to last year and has some extra editions which I predict people may like?

Great cricket is finally getting some cosistancey for the loyal collectors
Let years card where nice and at a great price point also.

The Paralells look nice but are all one colour borders which makes the team colours on them pop!

Yeah so they are similar to last years parallels, so they do look pretty good

The slash of colour through the black looks so much better than the white, commons should’ve been club main colour border, secondary colour slash, that would’ve looked great I think

Apologies for posting in this thread, but saw the A League comment above.

I’ve been saying this for a while, surely it’s time for the return of NBL cards ? The NBL is a great product, great players and massive following. Is it because if NBA card priority that would make this difficult?

I’d love signature cards of Goulding, Delly, Broekhoff, Xavier Cooks, Duop Reath, Sobey, Bryce Cotton etc

Plus all Aussies playing outside of NBA like Maker, Kay, Motum and co

What do you mean by ‘some consistency’?

TNP did 6 years of pretty good quality releases.

Yep loads of companies have gone with 2-3 seasons. After that it seems to fall apart for cricket, let’s hope that’s not the case here

so up to 36 packs per box this year

Sounds like the potential to be some predictor cards? Unlikely but one day I would love to see something along the lines of a top run scorer/wicket taker predictor which could come with a signature at the end of the season like the AFL does with the Brownlow medal.

Priority edition?

The commons look a lot like this years elite, does anyone know if they have the same feel to the elite, also, would be nice to see a couple ashes themed inserts for this set

It would be great to have cricket predictor cards as it is a much closer sport than the nrl, there were only really a couple of team in contention for the footy but anything can happen with cricket, also a golden arm and bat predictor would be sick
